Victorian Forest Industry Review
The annually released VAFI Industry Review (formerly Sustainability Report) aims to provide an understanding of the timber industry in Victoria and the role of the Association as a representative body and an industry leader; providing a snapshot of the environmental, social and cultural and economic performance of the timber industry, and the governance and stakeholder dialogue performance of the VAFI. It is also a tool to facilitate better dialogue among industry, government and the community, and a resource to support better decision making and continual improvement. The Industry Review is an important benchmark that helps VAFI to reflect on our own and the industry’s performance over time, and to develop new strategies and activities to improve that performance.
Our goals are to develop a strong and sustainable timber industry in Victoria and this report provides information on the progress of the industry and the activities of the VAFI and its members.
