Alpine Ash is one of the tallest hardwood trees in the world, growing up to 80 metres tall.

Alpine Ash is abudnant across Victoria and Tasmania, and can also be found in the sub-alpine regions of New South Wales and the ACT.

 

Appearance: Straw-yellow to pinkish-brown
Strength: Low to moderate strength and toughness
Texture: Moderately course with straight grain
Uses: Best for protected uses. Furniture, panelling, flooring, joinery
